Dates of travel: 12/10/2012 – 12/12/2012 After Eric’s Dengue Fever and selling our bicycles in Bangkok, our only option to travel from place to place was by using public transportation. Fried Spiders in Skuon, Cambodia

Date of travel: 12/6/2012 Supposedly we swallow an average of four spiders in our sleep each year. Urban legend or not, just the thought of swallowing one of those itty bitty crawly creatures sends shivers down my spine. When Eric and I heard about a place in Cambodia where people eat not just little spiders but big fat hairy tarantulas we were immediately grossed out but also intrigued.
